Twitter updates

I've removed twitter updates from this blog until they've fixed the problem.  It seems that @undefined s tweet stream has been substituted for everyone elses in the blog gadget.  Not that my tweets were more interesting or relevant, but still.

So much for daily posting

Well, my resolve to post here daily didn't even last a day.  I have to do better than that.

Flailing about

Trying to get a handle on this blogging thing.  I'm trying to develop a habit of writing regularly here (hopefully several times a day) as a means of both developing my writing skills and relieving stress.  It is also a step towards living my life more openly, as I have not made this blog private, nor do I intend to do so, and I intend to be frank and honest and open about my sexuality here, something I have had difficulty doing my entire life (most likely due to fear.  I'll try to explore this later.)

Ramblings about work....

I work for [unnamed government agency] doing [unspecified geeky things to unsuspecting computational engines].  I'd rather not name the agency or my job title because I am a gay Pagan in an extremely fundamentalist Christian office.  I am only out at work with a few ppl, who hide their liberal leftist leanings from the rest of the office, too.
Naturally, my cubicle is located next to the one coworker whom I despise.  Most of the other ppl here feel the same way I do about him, but because he has been here so long, he is almost impossible to fire (a perfect example of what happens to a problem that is ignored for too long:  It becomes unsolvable.)  Ah, well.

First post

Trying to come up with first blog post which doesn't read like a tweet.  Failing miserably.
